Meet Kathleen Mazy – Co-Owner, Lead Educator
Wellness Expert at Fancy’s Day Spa

Kathleen Mazy is the founder and owner of Fancy’s Day Spa, where she combines nearly 20 years of experience with a deep passion for helping people feel their best. She began her massage therapy journey in 2005 and never looked back—what started as a way to help her husband with back pain turned into a career dedicated to wellness, education, and empowerment.

In addition to running Fancy’s, Kathleen is also the founder of Texas Massage Academy, an innovative hybrid massage school with campuses in Brownwood and Abilene. Through the academy, she helps aspiring massage therapists build strong, lasting careers with hands-on training and flexible online learning.

At Fancy’s, Kathleen specializes in fully customized massage experiences tailored to each client’s needs. Her sessions often include a blend of relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, hot stones, cupping, moist heat, and aromatherapy—all included at no additional cost when needed. Her goal is always to listen first and treat the whole person, not just the symptoms.

As a licensed massage therapist and instructor, Kathleen brings warmth, experience, and integrity into every session. Whether she’s teaching future therapists or providing hands-on care, she’s driven by a deep belief in the power of touch and the importance of helping others heal and thrive.
